Revise and chase a quote
Updated August 9, 2026
Customers negotiate. Revising a quote keeps the original intact, so you can always see what you first offered and what changed.
This guide is written rather than filmed. A recorded walkthrough is scheduled for the next filming pass.
Revising a sent quote
- Open the quote and choose to revise it.
- Rhumbit creates a new version rather than editing the old one — the customer's original link now shows the current version.
- Adjust the lines and send it again.
Because the previous version is kept, a customer saying "but you quoted me X" is a question you can answer rather than argue about.
Letting Rhumbit chase it
Reminders nudge a customer who has not responded, on a schedule, without you keeping a list. They stop as soon as the quote is accepted or declined.
- Reminders go to the same contact the quote went to.
- A customer who has opted out of texts is not texted — consent is respected here too.
- You can turn reminders off per quote if a customer has asked for space.
