Sending an invoice is a two-minute review and one button. What is worth knowing is what changes about the invoice the moment it goes out.

1. Every invoice in one place
2. The invoicing list: outstanding, overdue, collected and sent totals above every invoice and its status
3. Open the one that's ready
4. A draft offers View, Edit, Void and Delete

8. Choose how it goes out — email is ticked by default. Stripe isn't connected, so the invoice still sends; only the pay-now link won't work

Sending locks things down

A draft can be edited, voided or deleted. A sent invoice cannot be deleted — Send becomes Resend, and a reminders card appears. That is deliberate: a document the customer has already received should not be able to change out from under them.

You get a delivery receipt

The invoice shows when it was delivered and to which address. If a customer says they never got it, that line is the answer — and if delivery genuinely failed, you will see that too rather than assuming it landed.
