Set up the AI receptionist
Updated August 9, 2026 · 1 walkthrough
The AI receptionist answers calls you cannot get to. Setting it up is mostly confirmation rather than data entry — the wizard reads what your organization already knows.

- It offers to pre-fill from what you already told Rhumbit
- Your timezone came across on its own
- Saved
- Business basics saved, and the wizard moves on to Step 2 of 9: Business Hours
- And your opening hours came across too
- Step 3 of 9: Services & Pricing, already listing the services this business offers
- Nothing you didn't type, and nothing lost
- Back on Business Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00, Saturday 08:00 to 15:00, Sunday closed
- Even Saturday's shorter day

What it seeds from your account
Your working hours become the hours it tells callers you are open. Change them in Settings and the receptionist follows — there is no second copy to keep in sync.
Your service types become the work it knows you do. A service you do not offer is a service it will not accidentally agree to.
Check these before going live
- Your hours, including any day you are deliberately closed.
- Service names as a customer would say them, not internal shorthand.
- Your service area, so it does not book work two hours away.
- What it should do with a call it cannot handle.
The AI receptionist is in beta. Review its early conversations rather than assuming.
